The Pajarito Mountain Cafe is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 2pm and the perfect place to re-fuel with drinks, cookies, and bars or to replace those calories you burned after a run with juicy burgers, breakfast burritos and more!
There are a couple favorite any great runs from and around Pajarito Mountain! The Aspenola loop is a quick 2-mile look with lots of climbing, wildflowers, and a view of Los Alamos. This can be a great warmup for some of the other runs. The Pajarito Mountain Loop is 4.9 miles long and gives a great tour of the mountain. See our hiking page to learn more this loop.
Looking for the most elevation in the shortest amount of steps? The Aspen Run Hill Climb goes from the base area to the top of the mountain in .62 miles on a 33% grade! This challenging route is part of the Jemez Trail run 50-mile loop and 50 km loop!
