Senior Thursdays at Pajarito

Today’s seniors made skiing popular in the 1960s and 1970s, and it’s this same generation that built Pajarito. I’m proud to announce that our ski school has introduced a new way for seniors to socialize and ski together – and for this coming Thursday, January 28, participation in this group will be absolutely FREE.

Every Thursday from 8:30 until noon, a group of seniors – together with Level 3 certified ski school instructors – will ski Pajarito together. The day begins at 8:30 in the main lodge, where participants enjoy coffee, refreshments and conversation before heading to the lifts at 9 a.m. From there, the group – together with our veteran instructors – will explore Pajarito’s slopes while taking in the pristine views and the companionship that comes when you’re skiing with friends (at this point, we’re offering ski instruction only – if you are interested in snowboarding, please contact us at the information provided below). During these Thursday meet-ups, our instructors will be available to offer guidance, coaching, equipment insight, technique and conditioning based on requests from the participants.

We expect this group to gather every Thursday through the end of the ski season. Please note that this FREE meet-up does not include a lift ticket (which is $49 for adults and $42 for guests ages 60 and older. Guests who are 70 years or older receive a free lift ticket everyday). No registration is necessary – just come to the lodge between 8:30 and 9:00 this Thursday (and every Thursday this season.)

We think this program is a perfect opportunity not only for our guests to socialize with other active seniors, but to enjoy top-quality skiing and receive insight from some of our best instructors.
