Summer Cafe Hours + NICA Event + ULLRfest
Pajarito Mountain announced this week that the Pajarito Mountain Cafe will be opening Wednesdays through Sundays until October from 11am – 2 pm.
The casual eatery offers a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and New Mexican fare. “We are pleased to offer expanded hours, and welcome guests to come enjoy the incredible view on our deck,” said Tom Long, General Manager of Pajarito Mountain.
The mountain also announced that it is hosting Bikefest, the statewide National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) kickoff party this Saturday, August 20. For the safety of the NICA riders, the lift will be closed that day, but will be operational on Sunday, August 21 from 9 am-3 pm. For more information on Bikefest, visit newmexicomtb.org.
Pajarito Mountain’s lifts will be open for an additional Friday afternoon bike and hike from 4pm-7pm on Friday, August 26. Lifts will run Saturday and Sunday for its usual hours 9 am – 3 pm.
Ullrfest, Pajarito Mountain’s annual party to celebrate the coming winter, will be held September 10 in partnership with the Los Alamos Ski Club. The party will include music by Pigment, and the New Mexico Craft Beerfest from noon-5 pm. Admission for those 21 and older for the brewfest is $20, with tickets available onsite. The lifts will be spinning for bike and hike throughout the weekend, and the cafe will be open its usual hours.
