An Update on Winter 2020/2021

An Update on Winter 2020/2021

Dear Pajarito Family,

The unique challenges over the last five months have tested our resiliency, but they haven’t dampened our spirits. Never has our mission to give people the freedom to ski felt more important than right now.

The scheduled opening day for Pajarito Mountain is TBD. Our crews are busy preparing the slopes, lifts, and all other services in anticipation of snow! We can’t wait to welcome our guests back to enjoy skiing and riding

Skiing and snowboarding are inherently low COVID risk activities, it’s the ancillary services that require more thought and planning. We have rethought our operations and are looking forward to offering an innovative approach to all that we do at Pajarito mountain. While we know things can and may change at any time, here is what we’re currently anticipating for this winter:

  • We expect most purchases (including lift tickets, rentals, ski school and restaurant options) to be conducted online at our website www.pajarito.ski. Products will be available for purchase on our website later this fall – we encourage everyone to buy well in advance to secure your preferred date.
  • We will continue to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations in operating our business.
  • We will ask you to stay home if you are sick or feel symptomatic.
  • We will require masks and face coverings indoors and outdoors where required, according to New Mexico regulations.
  • We will ask you to keep at least 6 feet of distance between you and others not in your party.
  • Access to indoor spaces – such as restaurants, restrooms, etc. – will be limited. We will ask you to plan accordingly and consider going to your vehicle to warm up or eat.
  • Lifts and lift lines will support physical distancing.

During this unpredictable and uncertain time, we are grateful for your understanding and constant support. Working together as a community will create success for Pajarito Mountain and all who come to enjoy it. Thank you for doing your part to stay safe and healthy. We commit to doing our part as well.

Sincerely,

Tom Long, Natalie Kave & Elizabeth Howe
