75th Anniversary of the Los Alamos Ski Club Weekend

The Los Alamos Ski Club is celebrating 75 years in 2018. This weekend will be the final weekend of this summer season of lift-served hiking and biking at Pajarito Mountain. There will also be dinner with speakers, to celebrate and acknowledge the efforts of our founders and volunteers, a historical photo montage and the installation of 7 historical plaques around the mountain. Come join in on the festivities and learn about the history and influences of Pajarito Mountain!

October 26th- 75th Anniversary Dinner

Join other Ski Club Members and volunteers at Pajarito Lodge for a dinner full of historical information across our amazing 75 years as a Club.  Pajarito Cafe to cater a delicious meal, Milt Gillespie keynote speaker, volunteer recognition, historical photo montage flash drive, drinks, and anniversary logo glass are included in the price (get $2 off the Fest with your dinner glass).

Deanna Kirby, author of “Just Crazy to Ski” (about the first 50 years of the Club and the making of Pajarito Mountain), will be at the Friday night dinner and will sign books.  

Come and be festive wearing your old pins or badges and other Pajarito wear throughout the ages.

October 27th-75th Anniversary Fest

Historical talks will begin at 10 am (schedule below) at the Lodge on “The Making of a Ski Hill” with many of our most famous volunteers, as well as our amazing volunteer Ski Patrol, Snow Sports Program, Ski Racing Clubs and more recent to our history Mountain Biking. 

Beer and Band throughout the afternoon with locals DK and the Affordables ($10 entry, unless you came to the dinner then $8 for the beer garden).  Lift Served Biking and Hiking all day!
