Ski & Bike Patrol
Patrolling Pajarito Mountain since 1949
A hybrid unit of paid and volunteer patrollers working on the mountain.
Pajarito Ski & Bike Patrol has over 70 dedicated volunteer and paid patrollers working Wednesday through Sunday. The patrol supports the mountain during ski season and the lift served bike season in summer ensuring safety, education, and providing first aid, rescue and transport to those who need help.
Pajarito’s patrollers train and work together as a cohesive unit, and every member is trained to the National Ski Patrol’s Outdoor Emergency Care.
Today members of the Patrol leadership positions in the Rocky Mountain Division of the NSP in programs such as Outdoor Emergency Transportation, Certified, Outdoor Emergency Care, and Avalanche.
