Rental Shop Supervisor
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, including winter ski and snowboard rental operations, summer mountain bike rental and repair operations, daily sales operations, information sharing and display to meet departmental standards.
- Actively work the Rental Shop floor and sales desk, engaging customers, soliciting feedback from customers and adjusting operations as necessary to meet/exceed customer expectations
- Recruit, hire, orient, train and monitor service levels of all rental shop staff. Ensure staffing levels meet customer demand and budgetary targets
- Take inventory on designated schedule. Monitor and maintain appropriate equipment inventory levels.
- Load inventory into POS/inventory system and tag. Maintain rental asset inventory system to control lost, stolen and damaged equipment.
- Maintain certification from binding manufacturers and stay current with technical developments in the industry.
- Complete weekly staff schedules to align with business needs and labor budget.
- Comply will all legal, regulatory and industry standards equipment rental, ticket sales and providing customer information about the products at the resort.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Diffuse customer complaints
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Solid customer service skills. Knowledge of skis, snowboards, boots and bindings. Good communication skills
