The Snow Keeps Coming
It’s been a snowy holiday!
We picked up 2″ of snow last night to bring us to 30″ for the week – and it’s been incredible. The skiing and snowboarding are truly outstanding, and we couldn’t be more excited to have our 5 lifts and 32 trails open and available everyday through this Sunday, January 3 (after that, we’ll bump to Wednesday through Sunday operations).
Unfortunately, the recent winter storms also delivered some tremendous wind that’s taken down several trees. We were able to clear Rim Run, I Don’t Care and One More Time to get those trails groomed and back open, although the downed trees on the far West Side have made Ma Bell and Gene’s Choice inaccessible for quite some time.
The wind may have closed a couple of trails, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. As seen in today’s Santa Fe New Mexican story (click here to read it), Mother Nature is bringing snow to our mountain, and all of us – our guests, our families, our staff – are really enjoying it (and it’s great to see so many people here, but know this: you still won’t have to wait in a lift line).
